Dear ones, we serve a holy and glorious God, whose greatness is beyond our imagination. He is not far from us, seated only in the heavens—no, He is near, present, dwelling among His people. And today, He wants to remind you of something powerful: You are His temple.
What a sacred truth! In the days of old, the glory of God filled the temple built with stone and gold. Priests would minister before the Lord with trembling reverence. But now, through the blood of Jesus Christ, the veil is torn, and the Spirit of God no longer resides in a building—but in you. You are the living sanctuary where heaven touches earth.
This is not a small matter. If God’s Spirit dwells in you, then your life must reflect His holiness. The choices you make, the words you speak, the thoughts you entertain—they all become offerings at His altar. You are not ordinary. You carry divine purpose. When the enemy tries to tell you that you are weak or worthless, remind him: “I am God’s temple. His Spirit lives in me.”
Beloved, this changes everything. You are not walking alone. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead is within you. That means healing is possible, transformation is possible, deliverance is possible. God has made His home in you—not as a guest, but as Lord. He wants to reign in every corner of your heart, to make you radiant with His presence.
So guard your temple. Cleanse it of bitterness, of compromise, of fear. Let worship rise from within you. Let your life declare that God is here. And when trials come, stand firm—because the Spirit of God within you is greater than anything the world can throw at you.
Morning Prayer for Today
Heavenly Father, I thank You that I am Your temple. Fill me with Your Spirit and let my life bring You glory. Help me to walk in holiness, to honor Your presence in me, and to never forget that You dwell with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
