Life can feel heavy sometimes, can’t it?

Maybe it’s a strained relationship, a tough decision, or just the weariness of daily struggles. We try to push forward, but our efforts can feel cold or empty without something deeper driving them. That’s where God steps in with a simple, powerful truth: “Let all that you do be done in love.” In 1 Corinthians 16:14, Paul doesn’t just toss out a nice idea—he’s giving us a lifeline.

Love isn’t just a feeling; it’s a choice, a way of living that reflects God’s heart. When we’re tired or frustrated, it’s easy to act out of duty or anger. But love changes everything. It softens our words, steadies our hands, and turns even the smallest acts into something eternal. Jesus showed this on the cross—pure love in action (John 15:13).

So today, whether you’re facing a storm or walking in peace, let love lead. It’s not always easy, but it’s how God works through us. And in that, we find strength to keep going.

Today's Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your endless love that never fails us. Today, I lift up every heart reading this—mine included—and ask You to fill us with Your love that covers all (1 Peter 4:8).

When life feels hard or uncertain, help us choose love over bitterness, patience over haste. Guide our hands and words to reflect You, even in the messiness of our days. Strengthen us to love boldly, as Jesus did, knowing Your Spirit empowers us when we’re weak.

For those hurting or doubting, wrap them in Your peace. Let them feel Your presence and know they’re not alone. May everything we do—big or small—shine with Your love, drawing others closer to You.

We trust You, Lord, to carry us through. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
