Today's Verse: Bible Verse: Galatians 6:9

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."

Thoughts on Today Verse...

Some seasons feel endless, don’t they? You pour out kindness, effort, or faithfulness, yet the fruit seems nowhere in sight. Galatians 6:9 meets us in that weariness, whispering a steady reminder: keep going—God sees, and He’s not done yet.

Scripture tells us the farmer doesn’t plant and harvest in a day. There’s waiting, tending, trusting the soil to do its quiet work. Our lives are like that too. Maybe you’re encouraging a friend, serving without thanks, or holding fast to a dream God gave you. Fatigue creeps in, but Paul urges us—don’t quit now. Jesus said, “Blessed are those who persevere” (James 1:12), promising a harvest at the right time.

What good thing feels heavy today? Lift it to God and take one more step. The reward isn’t always instant, but it’s certain. He’s cultivating something lasting in you—faith that outlasts the struggle. Trust His timing; the harvest is coming.

Today Prayer

Lord, You know how tired I feel sometimes, pouring out when I don’t see results. Thank You for the promise of Galatians 6:9—that my efforts matter to You. Strengthen me when I’m weary, and renew my heart to keep doing good.

Father, I trust You’re at work, even when I can’t see it. Help me persevere with joy, knowing You’ve set the proper time for the harvest. For every seed sown in faith, bring growth in Your perfect way. Lift my eyes to Your purpose.

Bless those around me who feel like giving up. Wrap them in Your peace and patience today. We praise You, God, for being faithful when we falter. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
