Dear friends, today we look at a powerful truth from God's Word. The Bible says that we are saved by God's grace through faith. This is not something we earn - it's a free gift from God!
Many people think they need to do good things to be saved. They believe if they pray enough, give enough money, or help enough people, God will accept them. But that's not what the Bible teaches.
God's grace is like a father giving his child a present on their birthday. The child didn't do anything to deserve it. The father gives it out of love. That's how God's grace works in our lives.
When we put our faith in Jesus, God's grace saves us. It's not about our good deeds or how religious we are. It's all about what Jesus did for us on the cross.
This truth should fill our hearts with joy and gratitude. We don't have to worry if we're good enough for God. He loves us and accepts us just as we are.
Today, let this sink deep into your spirit: You are saved by grace through faith. It's a gift from God. You can't earn it or work for it. Just receive it with a thankful heart.
Let this truth change how you live. Show kindness to others not to earn God's favor, but because you're grateful for His gift. Share this good news with someone who needs to hear it. Let God's grace flow through you to bless others.
Remember, dear friends, you are loved and accepted by God. Not because of what you've done, but because of what Jesus has done for you. Amen.
Prayer for September 24, 2024
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts. We thank You for Your amazing grace that saves us. Lord, we don't deserve it, but You give it freely.
Help us understand the depth of Your love for us. Let Your grace transform our lives. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit so we can live for You.
Father, we pray for those who are trying to earn Your love. Open their eyes to see that salvation is Your gift. Give them faith to receive Your grace.
Use us, Lord, to share this good news with others. Let Your grace flow through us to bless those around us. Help us live lives that reflect Your love and kindness.
We thank You for saving us, not because of our works, but because of Your great mercy. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
